A Bit About Us

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, past, present and emerging. We have deep respect for the incredible care and knowledge of the land, for thousands and thousands of years.

We aim to raise awareness of the natural world and to create an emotional bond between people, animals, water and plants. We want to show people ways of living with native animals and valuing the trees, the grasses and the microorganisms living in the soil.

The sanctuary is an educational and conservation wildlife sanctuary which is committed to the welfare of animals in our care, along with educating members of the public who visit our park, to enable them to understand the importance of the conservation of local and national flora and fauna.

We are located ten minutes from Merimbula NSW in the beautiful Bega Valley. Please visit us to see a koala, wander among the kangaroos, touch a snake, stroll through the cooling mist of the walk-through aviary and have lunch and really good coffee at the Blue Wren Café.

You can get up close to our kangaroos, emus and ducks who roam the park freely and hand feed them with an Animal Feed Bag that are  available for $3 at the entrance.

No admission required to visit the Blue Wren Café. Welcome!
